Project Objectives

As an organization with special interest and dedicated focus on the poor, needy , vulnerable, minorities and marginalized people living in rural and deprived communities who are identified as most susceptible victims of migrants smuggling and human trafficking, our main goals and objectives for introducing this project are:

  • To adopt every possible mechanism to impress upon tourism companies and businesses as well as all corporate entities to integrate anti-migrants smuggling and human trafficking as a major corporate social, humanitarian and economic responsibility program and to provide training for workers within the tourism, travel and hospitality industry to enable them acquire the skills and technical capabilities to intercept and/or disrupt the clandestine activities or movement of migrants smugglers and human traffickers
  • To mount a continues and sustained outreach and awareness creation campaign about the real dangers and challenges that confront victims of migrants smuggling and human trafficking (undocumented, forced and irregular migration) such as threat to life or actual death, extreme hardships, prostitution, violence against victims and by victims, alcoholism, crimes, drugs and substance abuse with special emphasis on forced child labor and marriages
  • We are determined to confront migrants smuggling and human trafficking by working closely with other stakeholders such as the media, law enforcement agencies, diplomats, donor agencies, government departments and agencies by employing effective lobbying mechanism to influence policy formulation and implementation for curtailing human migrants smuggling and human trafficking
  • To provide education and training programs aimed at sensitizing the people especially parents about the techniques used by unscrupulous individuals and/or groups involved in migrants smuggling and human trafficking to influence prospective victims making informed decisions
  • Priority will also be giving to identifying, rescuing and supporting victims through counseling, re-orientation and integration programs and on the other hand, to advocate for punitive actions against perpetrators with the ultimate aim of deterring others from engaging in this heinous crime against humanity
  • To serve as a catalyst for a paradigm shift towards a formidable political commitment to addressing the socio-economic issues confronting the youth, women and children who are unfortunately the main source of supply for perpetrators of migrants smuggling and human trafficking

Target Group

The direct beneficiaries of this project are tourism, travel and hospitality industry professionals, service providers, companies and institutions. However, to achieve the desired broad-based and grassroots goals and objectives, the under-listed critical but mostly taken for granted publics will also be integral part of all programs and activities:
